  • Although we haven’t picked the exact date and location. As a group we have decided to host a Neal Peter Memorial Pickleball tournament! Considering golf was such a huge success we figured we try something a little more inclusive! Stay tuned for more updates regarding this topic.

  • During this time period we will be planning as a group for our Neal Peter Memorial Golf tournament. This will feature of a multitude of planning club meetings at Richard Montgomery either after school hours or during lunch hours.

  • Although we havent picked a date yet. We are planning to host another Neal Peter Memorial Golf Tournament at Bretton Woods around this time 2027! Stay tuned for more updates regarding this topic.

August 21 2026 was the Neal Peter Memorial Golf Tournament, a day dedicated to honoring Neal's life while investing in the future of deserving students. Neal was family to some and a friend to all, and this annual event celebrated the joy, kindness, and community spirit that defined his life.

As a group we spent a beautiful summer afternoon enjoying golf, great food, refreshments, and fellowship as we came together for a meaningful cause. Every registration, sponsorship, and donation helped fund the Neal Peter Memorial Scholarship, ensuring that Neal's legacy continues to inspire and support future generations.

This event was made possible through the generosity of our volunteers and sponsors, whose support provides the majority of the scholarship's annual funding. We will 100% do this event again in the coming future. If you or your organization are interested in becoming a sponsor, we would love to hear from you.

  • Neal is survived by his older sister, Veda; mother, Bhavana; father, Rakesh; Aunts – Sneha and Joanne; Uncles – Rajesh and Anirban; his paternal grandparents, Jyothi and Peter Markose; his maternal grandmother Geetha Vishakanta; his cousins, Hannah, Sophie, Meghna and Rishi; and his crew of best buddies who loved him fiercely. He was pre-deceased by Vishakanta, his maternal grandfather whom he adored.

  • Beyond the soccer field, Neal had a taste for adventure and loved traveling to new places. He eagerly planned family trips, immersed himself in different cultures and food, and marveled at the wonders of the world. He was full of curiosity and open-mindedness.

  • Neal's fascination with Greek mythology fueled his imagination and sense of adventure. He loved the epic tales of heroes, gods, and goddesses, often sharing their stories with infectious excitement. Combined with his passion for soccer, these stories inspired him to meet life's challenges with courage, perseverance, and the spirit of a true warrior.

  • Neal's love of bubble tea was legendary among his friends. Coconut was always his favorite flavor, and he never missed an opportunity to discover a new shop or recommend a favorite. Many afternoons were spent in Rockville Town Square, enjoying bubble tea and making memories with his best friends.
